Student Evaluations for Social Psychology

She was very enthusiastic about teaching and was very willing and available to answer questions that the students had.

She really tries to find ways to help you learn that are less conventional and more fun. At the end of some classes she did the "one minute paper" so if for whatever reason you didn't want to ask something in class you could just ask it there. There were really a lot of ways to reach out to her and ask her.

She created a good environment where we could discuss our topic and chapter of the day. She facilitated it, yet let the students do the majority of the leading.

She provided many examples and discussions to help break down the materials and connect memories to the content.

I really enjoyed the fact that she allowed the class to facilitate our own discussion and did not just us lecture us straight from the slides everyday for ten weeks. This really allowed me to develop a further understanding of all of the course material that I don't usually get when just listening to a professor talk.

I really enjoyed the journal for the class. It was helpful to write thoughts out and apply class concepts to real-life situations.

I really enjoyed when we did the strengths assessment online. That was probably my favorite assignment outside of class because I got to see what 5 things about my personality are most prominent. It taught me how I view and treat others, which in turn is how I expect others to treat me.

I learned how to work with other people with whom I may have never known before taking this class

I learned a lot of interesting topics and really valued the applied concepts.

Apart from learning the content, I learned other ways to learn, and how to apply what I was learning to real life.

The professor did great at adapting to the class speed and workload, and it was clear that she took criticism to heart.

She did a survey at the middle of the course and actually changed some things that we didn't like. I think that is really rare that apart of asking for feedback she actually did changes and readjust somethings. I felt that we were listened to.

I really enjoyed the class overall.
